Movin' On is one of the biggest student-run music festivals in the country, held at Penn State University every year. Hitting its 50th year in 2025, "Movin' On brings a free celebration intended to wish off all graduating students who are "movin' on" in their lives. Movin' On's rich history includes a wide variety of musical acts including Jack Harlow, Sexxy Red, Dayglow, Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes, Daya, Amine, Judah & The Lion, MGMT, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Passion Pit, Two Door Cinema Club, Fitz and the Tantrums, and more."

I was fortunate to be apart of this organization for three years, holding the Director of Production position for two years. We worked throughout the year planning everything for the day of the festival. Each committee took care of different aspects to make sure the festival ran smoothly. Everything from closing down the roads, renting the port-a-potties, securing activations, to building the stage and loading everything production, was all organized by students.

In this position, I was able to grow as a technician, leader, and mentor. I led interviews and was in charge of a team who helped me in the more technical side of the festival. We worked very closely with the production company and the road crews of the artists.
